Our Whimsical Terrier is the original design and is created from Old Maps and Postcards Cardstock. The design invokes a sense of fluidity and motion and tries to embrace the black and tan qualities of the Airedale and Welsh Terriers.
Wabi Sabi: The beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete
The incompleteness and imperfection of my work is part of the story. I don’t strive for perfection — no small feat since I’m a crazed perfectionist — but I try to achieve balance in my creations. I embrace the juxtaposition of imagery and love being surprised by the unexpected . While it may be easy to view my dogs as a simple random compilation of cardstock selection, I will often seek a more complex thought process. The choices I make with the placement and imagery of the details are deliberate and add to the complexity and uniqueness of the Whimsical Terrier.
